The Winner

The Winner is the Fox sitcom TV series that follows the story of a successful man named Glen Abbott (Rob Corddry) as he reminisces about his 30's and living in New York. Glen looks back to when he was 32, living with his parents Ron and Irene in Buffalo, New York. Ron is a bitter old father, who is disappointed in Glen and unhappy with Irene. Irene is his loving mother, who is much more supportive of Glen. Glen loses his virginity at 31 to his former English teacher, tries to date his neighbor Alison (Erinn Hayes), and befriends her son Josh. Glen remembers the summer of 1994, when Clinton was president and Glen was 32 and living with his parents. When Alison moves back to town, she inspires Glen to change his ways and become an adult to try to win her heart. Glen tries to get over his inexperience and act his age, going through his wonder years a decade late, while keeping his fueding parents together, and helping advise Josh on growing up.
