The 4400

The 4400 was a television program that aired on the USA Network from July 11, 2004 until September 16, 2007. It was created by Scott Peters and Rene Echevarria and aired for four seasons, producing 44 hour-long episodes. The 4400 starred Joel Gretsch, Jacqueline McKenzie, Laura Allen, Billy Campbell, Peter Coyote, Patrick Flueger and Samantha Ferris. The premise of the show surrounded a group of 4400 people who are returned to earth after apparently being abducted by aliens over a period covering approximately sixty years. None of those who return have any memory of their abduction, however, and none appear to have aged a day since their disappearance. The 4400 covers their reintegration into life on earth under the auspices of the National Threat Assessment Command. Eventually, many of them discover that they have unique psychic powers such as precognition and telepathy. Despite a solid critical reception and a loyal fan base, the 4400 was cancelled due to low ratings. MORE
