Celebrity Family Feud

Celebrity Family Feud was a game show spin-off aired by NBC and hosted by television weather anchor Al Roker. It debuted as part of “NBC's All-American Summer” primetime line-up in June 2008. Celebrity Family Feud kept the same format as the original Family Feud, in which contestants must answer survey questions posed to 100 people, with the winning team moving on to the “Fast Money” round. However, this version of Feud featured celebrity clans instead of regular families. Some “families” were actually television-character families, such as the Hickey’s (“My Name Is Earl”), or groups of characters from other shows, such as members of “The Office” and “American Gladiators”. The winning team of each round of competition won the right to donate up to $50,000 to a charity of its choice. Al Roker was chosen to host the show over regular host John O’Hurley after O’Hurley committed to do another series. Celebrity Family Feud lasted for 6 episodes before being canceled by NBC. MORE
