The Venture Bros.

The Venture Brothers is a animated comedy television series following the Venture Bros, Hank and Dean, twin brothers who are constantly getting into dangerous situations following their former boy-genius scientist father Dr. Thaddeus “Rusty” Venture (James Urbaniak) and his legendary secret agent bodyguard Brock Sampson (Patrick Warburton.) The show parodies classic cartoons and their conventions, most notably Johnny Quest and its idea of the super scientist traveling with his son and a bodyguard, and the Hardy Boys, which the brothers are spoofs of. Dr. Venture struggles to live up to his father's standards as a super-scientist and thus lives mostly off inventions his father built while livin in the rundown Venture Compound with the boys and Brock. Hank and Dean are an exercise in opposites, as Hank is adventurous and idolizes the machismo of Brock while Dean is more timid and cautious. Together they let their immaturity run wild which consistently puts them in precarious situations when dealing with the types of supernatural and high-tech adventures they accompany their father on. They face all types of danger, particularly from the Monarch, Dr. Venture’s sworn nemesis and requisite super-villain from super-villain association “League of Calamatous Intent”, and his assistant Dr Girlfriend.
