Oddities is a new Discovery Channel show that takes a peak inside the world of the New York City store Obscura Antiques & Oddities. Located in Manhattan's East Village, Obscura Antiques & Oddities has made it their job to locate, acquire, and sell some of the most strange artifacts and collectables in existence today. As the title of the show implies, the store is littered with the strangest items for sale this side of Spencer's Gifts. Whether you fancy a human skull, used straitjackets, a mummified cat, or wax models of third-degree burn victims, Obscura is the store for you. With the series, Discovery Channel is hoping to take its viewers along for the whole ride, from the purchasing of items all the way to the sales of the various inventories. Though amassing a collection of some of the weirdest products you can imagine may sound like an easy job, it isn't.
