CHiPS

CHiPS was an American television drama series created by Rick Rosner that aired on NBC from September 15, 1977, to July 17, 1983. The show starred Erik Estrada, Larry Wilcox, Heather O'Rourke, Robert Pine, Brianne Leary, Bruce Penhall, Michael Dorn, Paul Linke, and Lou Wagner. The series takes its name from the acronym of the California Highway Patrol (CHiP), and the storylines revolve around two motorcycle patrol officers of the California Highway Patrol. Wilcox played the straight-laced Officer Jonathan Baker, while Estrada played the more rebellious Officer Francis Llewelyn "Frank" Poncherello.
