So Weird

So Weird is a 1999 teen drama / paranormal television show produced by the Disney Channel. It features the often-spooky adventures of Fiona Philips (Cara Delizia), a teenage girl with an interest in all things strange. Be they ghosts, aliens, vampires or werewolves, she investigates and researches them, and over the course of the series encounters them and many other aberrations. She travels around the globe with her rock star mother Molly (Mackenzie Phillips), finding the mysterious everywhere. The third season of the show saw dramatic changes as the producers wished to make the relatively dark tone more kid-friendly, replacing the lead character with Annie Thelen (Alexz Johnson). After Fiona leaves to live a more normal life, Annie takes on her role as paranormal investigator, using an enchanted ring given to her by Fiona. The series ran for three seasons, and a total of 65 thirty-minute episodes were produced. Any fan of paranormal television will find something to like about So Weird. MORE
