Big Brother

Big Brother is a CBS summer reality show where thirteen strangers are put into a house and monitored with cameras twenty-four/seven. The live feeds of the show are available at all times on CBS.com, and the network airs edited footage (and some live segments) four times a week. The goal of Big Brother is to endure a month disconnected from reality with a group of strangers and weekly physical and mental challenges. Also, viewers vote on who gets to stay in the Big Brother house and who has to leave. The last player left in the house wins $500,000 and celebrity fame. During the two months in the house, the contestants might meet their best friend or their worst enemy. Big Brother is a remake of a popular Dutch series, and has spawned copies all over the world, including Celebrity Big Brother here in America. It's a massive summer hit. MORE
