Gods and Monsters

Gods and Monsters is a 1998 American-British drama film directed by Bill Condon. The movie is based on the novel "Father of Frankenstein" by Christopher Bram, which provides a fictionalized account of the last days of British filmmaker James Whale, best known as the director of classic horror films, including "Frankenstein" and "Bride of Frankenstein". The stellar cast comprises of the incredible talents of the quintessential Ian McKellan, who portrays James Whale, Brendan Fraser in the role of Clayton Boone, and Lynn Redgrave portraying the role of Hanna, Whale's housemaid.
