Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman

Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman is a television series that aired on ABC from 1993 to 1997 following the adventures of Superman, but with an emphasis on the romance between Clark Kent (Dean Cain) and Lois Lane (Teri Hatcher). The show presents Clark Kent as the dominant protagonist, with a much more assertive and suave personality instead of previous depictions as a bumbling goof. Clark Kent moves to Metropolis and gets a job at the Daily Planet newspaper, where he is paired with fellow reporter Lois Lane. Clark immediately has romantic feelings for Lois, but they are not reciprocated. Lois falls for Clark's alter-ego Superman though, putting Clark in a strange love triangle with himself. Their relationship develops over the four seasons as secrets are revealed and they engage in romantic entanglements with others. Superman's traditional nemesis Lex Luthor, depicted as a secretly evil corporate tycoon, is the villain throughout season one. The show also features Clark's editor Perry White (Lane Smith) and his friend and co-worker at the paper Perry White. MORE
