The Jetsons

Meet The Jetsons, the space-age cartoon family of George Jetson, his wife Jane, his boy Elroy, daughter Judy, dog Astro and their trusty robot maid Rosie. The Jetson family lives in Orbit city, a city high in the clouds, where George commutes in his flying car to his job at Spacely Space Sprockets, reporting to his short-fused boss Mr. Cosmo Spacely. Homemaker Jane is fashionable and loves shopping for new clothes and gadgets. The children are Elroy, boy genius, and Judy, boy-crazy teenager. The Jetsons had a run of episodes in the 60's and another in the 80's, and was a successful series which led to two TV movies, an animated theatrical release, and a live-action adaptation directed by Robert Rodriguez on the way. The Jetsons was made by Hanna-Barbera after the success of The Flintstones, and the two worlds even met in the television movie The Jetsons Meet the Flintstones. MORE
