Hung

Hung is an HBO comedy series starring Thomas Jane as a down-and-out basketball coach who turns to the oldest profession in the world when he hits rock bottom. Ray Drecker is no stranger to misfortune. In high school he was a big deal. Everyone looked up to him, the basketball team's star player. He married young to the hottest girl in school, Jessica (Anne Hache). Now, he's older. He can no longer depend on his youth for success. So his unhappy wife leaves him for a rich man. His two children choose to live with him for a while, until his childhood home burns down and they go live with their mother. His snooty neighbors want to kick him off his property, and he doesn't have enough money to fix his condemned house. Through a career motivation program, he meets Tanya (Jane Adams), a struggling baker with big ideas. She helps Ray realize that despite everything else, he still has one big asset-his natural, physical endowment. Together, the unlikely pair venture into the world of male prostitution, with Tanya using her professional contacts to find clients for Ray. While his new criminal career puts him at risk of really losing everything, it's the only chance he has to get his life back together. MORE
