The Rolling Stones

The Rolling Stones are on of the most influential bands in the history of rock n' roll. Originally formed in London in 1962, Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts, and Ronnie Wood are still touring to this day. After a string of successful singles, the Rolling Stones released "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction" and were established as a top act in the music business. The Rolling Stones released a string of successful albums and singles in the 1960s including "Paint It Black" and "Ruby Tuesday". Towards the end of the 1960s they released Their Satanic Majesties Request, Beggars Banquet, and Let It Bleed. In the 1970s they continued their success with Sticky Fingers, Exile On Main St., and Black and Blue. Through the 1980s and 1990s the Rolling Stones continued to release music, but were no longer the stature they once were. In 2005, the Rolling Stones returned as a multi million dollar live act and once again regained their former acclaim.
