Godzilla vs. Kong is a 2021 monster film directed by Adam Wingard. Madison, Josh, and Bernie infiltrate Apex's Antarctica facility, where they uncover research into a mysterious substance called Nozuki, which can absorb and transmit a bio-acoustic signal. They realize Apex is using Nozuki to control the Titans, including Godzilla, and try to expose the truth. However, Walter Simmons has other sinister plans, and unleashes Mechagodzilla, a deadly robotic copy of Godzilla, to wreak havoc. Meanwhile, Kong regains consciousness inside the Hollow Earth, an exotic subterranean world filled with ancient ruins and unusual creatures. Guided by local girl Jia, Kong explores his ancestral home and reconnects with his roots. After gaining new strength, Kong returns to the surface to once again confront Godzilla, hoping to halt his destructive rampage. An epic clash between the two alpha Titans takes place in Hong Kong, with the fate of humanity hanging in the balance.
