The tension is building as South Africa is less than a week away from voting in the 2014 Elections. Justice and Debora can barely contain their excitement - although Justice is projecting his enthusiasm for Game of Thrones, which is slaying us all with it's brutal twists in its 6th Season of bloodshed, which is what the SABC seems to be insinuated by every election ad it bans from TV.

Back from the Easter Weekend and onto Freedom Day's long weekend, Puppet Nation's anchors Julius and Debora are grumpy about not being allotted any time off, and experiment with replacements. While Oscar Pistorius seems to be angling for an Oscar with rumours of alleged acting classes, Agang's Mamphela Ramphele tries to keep a low profile these days - although not as low as flight MH370, which is still completely MIA.

Zuma's favourite killing machine Riahcop is a completely new character. RIAHCOP: No compassion. No mercy. No clue! Coming to a cinema or personal amphitheatre near you. Despite threats and criticism, Thuli almost never loses her cool. If there's hidden rage in there we're not seeing broadcasts or hearing stories of screams of frustration - unlike the sanguine squeal of Oscar Pistorius or the donkey-like braying of our own Helen Zille. Thuli's completely zen. Almost as zen as Zach Galafianakis, if Between Two Ferns is anything to go by. On a completely different note, Trevor Noah, our favourite American-by-association, did something very original this week by hosting Between Two Terms, a chat show deliberately aimed at making his guests feel uncomfortable by appearing ill-prepared, unbathed, and unable to keep his eye-line out of the camera.
