Max, a tech genius, becomes a Pteranodon and inevitably becomes thriftier with his inventions to outwit their foes. Then there's Rodger, whose change into a Spinosaurus reflects his gigantic strength and Buzz, the quirky one with a girth and heart to match, embodies a Styracosaurus.

Their opposition is Victor Veloci, a successful businessman who, unknown to the world, is a Velociraptor that survived extinction and is on an ominous mission to trigger global warming, recreating an environment conducive to dinosaur life to revive his extinct species. In contrast, our teenage heroes, stained by the ooze, are the only ones equipped with the necessary means to foil his plans.

The series skillfully incorporates educational themes like nature conservation, teamwork, and understanding principles of evolution, all masked in an energetic storyline.
