Child Support is an engaging and captivating game show that debuted on ABC in 2018. The show invites a fascinating mix of entertainment and competition that combines childlike innocence, adult contestants, notable celebrities, and captivating question and answer rounds. It showcases the distinct perspectives children have of the world, while also testing adults on their general knowledge and adding the thrill of competition to the mix.

The unique and fun-filled concept of Child Support is created by the award-winning actor, comedian and television host Ricky Gervais and Banijay Studios North America. The show is co-produced by Gervais, David Goldberg, Caroline Baumgard and Jeff Krask, marking a distinctive collaboration in the television industry.

Ricky Gervais is not only behind the scenes but also appears in the show, adding his distinctive wit and humor to the entertainment quotient. The show is hosted by the charismatic actor, comedian, and television host, Fred Savage who is best known for his role in 'The Wonder Years.' Savage infuses his trademark energy into the show, making it a delight to watch.

Child Support is essentially formatted as a trivia show with a significant twist that sets it apart from traditional quiz shows. In each episode, adult contestants are put in the spotlight and asked a series of 10 questions with the goal to answer each one correctly to win the top prize of $200,000. However, the catch is that if they answer any question incorrectly, they will only have one chance to be 'saved' by a panel of five children who collaborate for an answer.

These 5 kids, between the ages of 6 and 9, are filmed in a separate studio from the adult contestants and they're under the hilarious guidance of Gervais in a classroom setting. Savage asks a grown-up contestant the preliminary question. If the contestant gets that response wrong, the show then swivels to a cut-away of Gervais with the kids, attempting to.
