With no one equipped to handle such a violent antagonist in this new world, the governing body is left with no choice but to unfreeze Spartan – the only man capable of stopping Phoenix. Spartan must adjust to the societal changes, guided by Lieutenant Lenina Huxley (Sandra Bullock), a cop fascinated with the 20th-century culture, while also pursuing the relentless Phoenix. The clash between the two adversaries leads to a battle of wits, brute force, and a fight for survival in a world not prepared for their level of violence.
