David, in particular, provides some captivating moments, and Michael Fassbender, who plays both Walter and David, deserves credit for adding depth to the character. The iconic Alien monster that gave the series its name does not feature as much as some fans may have wanted, but it does appear in the movie's third act. But overall, the movie is more focused on the story surrounding the creatures rather than the creatures themselves.
