High Stakes Poker, broadcast by the Game Show Network, is a cash Texas hold 'em poker game. Now in it's seventh season, the first season taped all thirteen episodes at the Golden Nugget Casino in Las Vegas and was hosted by A.J. Benza and Gabe Kaplan. The sixteen-episode second season was taped at The Palms, while the third and the fourth seasons were both taped at the South Point Casino. The fifth and sixth seasons returned to the Golden Nugget Casino with Kara Scott replacing A.J. Benza. The seventh season was filmed at the Bellaggio. With a minimum buy-in of 100,000 for each season, many of the players featured on the show are the world's top poker players, while others are highly skilled hobbyists. Many of the players have changed over the course of the seven seasons, but the six have regularly appeared are Doyle Brunson, Eli Elezra, Antonio Esgandiari, Barry Greenstein, and Daniel Negreanu.
