Set against the vibrant yet unforgiving backdrop of Johannesburg, Bad Influencer follows the chaotic convergence of two women from entirely different worlds. BK is a struggling, street-smart fashion designer and single mother who manufactures high-end counterfeit luxury handbags to secure a future for her neurodivergent son and escape mounting debts. Pinky is a superficial, attention-seeking social media influencer whose lavish digital facade begins to collapse after losing her primary income stream. When a violent clash with the criminal underworld forces their paths to cross, the two women form an unlikely and highly volatile partnership. Together, they scale BK's illegal operation into a multi-million Rand counterfeit empire under the dangerous backing of a ruthless cartel boss. As the duo navigates the toxic envy of the influencer scene, relentless police investigations, and deadly cartel ultimatums, they must put their deep personal grievances aside. Blending BK's pragmatic survival instincts with Pinky's digital clout, they are forced into a high-stakes struggle for survival, evolving from bitter rivals into a genuine "ride or die" alliance.
