When Bennie arrives in Argentina he is in search of his older brother, Tetro. Once a famous writer Tetro is now an alcoholic sliver of his former self. Tetro refuses the reunion with his brother and forces him away. Bennie manages to salvage one last remaining script from Tetro’s possession. He hopes that by repairing the scrip and submitting it for a prestigious prize he can recover the lost relationship between the two brothers.
