Princess

The 2008 romantic fairy tale movie Princess was a TV movie aired on ABC Family. It stars Nora Zehether as the Princess, Kip Pardue as William Humphries, Deborah Grover as Nana, Nicole Anderson as Jitterbug, and Matthew Edison as Louis Baxter. 

Princess is a heart-warming story all about discovery, true love, romance, adventure, and finding the right one. Ithaca is a gorgeous, intelligent, and reclusive princess whose fun and eccentric ways have brought her to become a local legend. William, on the other hand, is a rudderless young man who is highly intrigued by and attracted to the Princess Ithaca. He is very smitten with her and is thinking how he could woo her with his good looks and capture her heart.

They first meet at a ball which is held at Princess Ithaca's home. William decides to donate money to have the chance to date and have a first dance with the Princess. He then says a cute-yet-cheesy pick-up line which has caused the princess to mistaken him to be "The Searcher." The Searcher is a man she has been searching for to help her find the one who can help heal all the sick and frightening mythical creatures in the world. Will William tell her the truth, or will he continuously lie to the Princess to spend more time to get to know her? Princess Ithaca then starts to find William to be quite attractive, but she doesn't know that he has been lying about who he is.

She then invites him inside of her huge castle the very next day. William however has absolutely no idea what is yet to come, so if he decides to not tell her the truth and learn the story of Princess Ithaca's past, things may turn out to be nothing like he planned.

This modern fairy tale film was directed by Mark Rosman and written by Heidi Ferrer, and it was released on April 20th of 2008.
