Land of the Eagle

Land of the Eagle is a documentary miniseries produced by BBC America. The program examines the ways in which North America was affected by European colonization and the subsequent formation of the United States and Canada. Viewers learn about the decimation of wildlife by eager fur traders, the displacement of thousands of Native Americans, the seizure of vast tracts of lands, and the progressive industrialization of what was once a vast and pristine wilderness.
