Jacked Up

Jacked Up is a 2000 crime-comedy movie directed by Timothy Wayne Folsome. The story follows four small-time crooks in Los Angeles who band together to carry out a heist that will make them rich. Steve Carlisle stars as Bobby, the leader of the group, alongside Joe Hix as Lenny, Bruce Jennings as T, and Eddie Moreno as Martinez.

Bobby has a plan to steal a case of rare coins from an eccentric millionaire named Frank (played by David Krakauer). However, things quickly go awry when they discover that the coins they have stolen are not worth as much as they thought they would be. To make matters worse, Frank has hired a ruthless hitman named Sweetback (played by Tony Todd) to track down the stolen coins and punish whoever took them.

The rest of the movie follows the four crooks as they try to avoid Sweetback's wrath and figure out what to do with the coins they have stolen. Along the way, they encounter a cast of colorful characters, including a pair of eccentric collectors (played by Hector Elizondo and Marilu Henner) and a seductive con artist (played by Leila Arcieri).

Jacked Up was not a critical or commercial success upon its release, with many critics dismissing it as a cheap knockoff of Quentin Tarantino's films. However, it has developed a cult following over the years for its quirky characters, offbeat humor, and energetic action sequences.
