Inspector Rishi

The entomologist calls Rishi about a breakthrough in his experiments on webspinner insects which gives a new possibility to crack the case. Rishi revisits the cave by himself and explores it again.

Rishi, Ayyanar, Chitra and Sathya venture into a dark and mysterious cave to investigate a new crime scene. After navigating through the tunnels ridden with bats, webspinner insects and terrifying apparitions, they discover the burnt remains of tribal people inside a large chamber.

Panic strikes when Kathy and another forest guard go missing in the forest during a routine night patrol. Sathya, Irfan, Rishi and Ayyanar desperately search for them.

Sathya and Irfan try to track down poachers who conduct illegal activities in the forest. Rishi and team investigate the murder of a tea factory owner.

Faria worries about Sathya and Irfan going for work in the forest while the fear of Vanaratchi is spreading rampantly in the village. Irfan tells her not to heed to baseless gossip.

Rishi and team investigate the bizarre abduction of a construction contractor. While conducting a search inside the forest, police sniffer dogs suddenly sense some unseen entity and bark wildly.

The lack of physical evidence and the supernatural phenomena around the murder baffles everyone. Rishi then tells Ayyanar and Chitra that this could be a serial murder case.

A wildlife photographer gets lost in the woods at night and is haunted by a deadly forest spirit called Vanaratchi. The next morning, a group of forest officers find his dead body, hanging on top of a tree, entangled in a large web-like cocoon.
