Crocodile 2: Death Swamp

Crocodile 2: Death Swamp is a 2002 horror film directed by Gary Jones. The film stars Heidi Lenhart, Chuck Walczak, and Jon Sklaroff, among others. It is a sequel to the 2000 horror film Crocodile.

The film opens with a group of criminals hijacking an airplane and forcing the pilot to land in a remote swamp to retrieve a cache of diamonds that were hidden there. The plane crashes while attempting to land, killing one of the hijackers and a few other passengers. The survivors, including the remaining hijackers, the pilot, and two stewardesses, struggle to survive in the dangerous swamp with little food or water.

Meanwhile, a giant crocodile, the same one from the first film, has made its home in the swamp and begins to pick off the survivors one by one. The crocodile is particularly drawn to a pregnant stewardess, who it seems to be hunting with a purpose. The remaining survivors must work together to try to escape the swamp alive, but it becomes increasingly clear that their chances of making it out are slim.

The film features some tense scenes and solid performances from the cast, particularly Lenhart as the resourceful and determined stewardess who takes charge of the group. The crocodile itself is created through a mix of practical effects and CGI, and while it may not be the most convincing creature ever put on film, it is still an effective antagonist.
