Worst Cooks in America

Worst Cooks in America is the Food Network series that brings together twelve of the most hopeless cooks in American to compete in a culinary boot camp. Food Network scours the country for culinary-clueless contestants, putting them in a high-stakes competition with a grand prize of $25,000. The contestants on the Red Team are journalist Hamed Hamad, attorney Kelly Locascio, stay-at-home mom Sophia Gettys, salon Owner Rebecca Hooper, website editor Rachel Coleman, and IT project manager Eddie Chang. Squaring off against them are the Blue Team, stay-at-home mom Wilhelmina Josephine, beer salesman David Summey, entrepreneur Susie Shoman, Director of Clinical Operations Marque Hernandez, aitress Jennifer Cross, and dance teacher Jennifer Vecchio. The contestants all come from different walks of life, but they share one thing, they are a disaster in the kitchen. The series puts them through training from acclaimed chefs Anne Burrell and Beau Macmillan. Anne is host of Secrets of a Restaurant Chef, and Beau is an executive chef at Elements.
