The Future Is Wild

The Future is Wild is an animated Discovery Kids series about four teenagers who time travel into the future in order to study futuristic Earth and the bizarre creatures that inhabit it. Through the eyes of these young travelers, we witness Earth as it will be millions of years from now and the animals that evolve to live in it. The teenage crew is captained by CG (Ashley Peters) who drives their Time Flyer. She is accompanied by the optimistic animal lover Emily (Miranda Jones), the adventurous Ethan (Marc Donato), and Luis (Taylor Abrahamase), the smart but cautious one. They jump ahead 5, 100, and 200 million years into the future. We see Antarctica become a rainforest and catch sight of Spitfire Birds and Falconflies in the air. The crew contends with Shagrats and Snowstalkers, Silver Spiders and Slithersuckers. In each episode, they pursue a new mission, guided by CG's father (Cedric Smith), and must contend with hostile environments, time machine malfunctions, and even a stowaway Squibbon!
