Glee

Glee is a musical comedy television series from Fox that follows the trials and tribulations of McKinley High's Glee Club, New Directions. Spanish teacher Will Schuster (Matthew Morrison), a former student and show choir member at McKinley, is determined to restore the school's Glee Club to the glory of his heydey. Mr. Schuster's goal proves to be no easy task as he faces the challenges of opposition from his colleagues, most notably the abrasive faculty instructor for McKinley's much lauded cheerleading group 'The Cheerios,' Sue Sylvester (Jane Lynch), who fears that New Directions could shift the school's financial support out of her favor. He quickly secures unpopular but extremely talented students Mercedes Jones (Amber Riley), Kurt Hummel (Chris Colfer), Tina C (Jenna Ushkowiz), wheelchair-bound Artie (Kevin McHale) and aspiring star Rachel Berry (Michelle Lea). Potential proves to be not enough to keep the school and its administration behind the Glee Club, and Mr. Schuster realizes that the key to success is securing popular students as new members. After blackmailing quarterback Finn (Cory Monteith) into joining New Directions, things are starting to look up. The subsequent showmance that develops between Finn and Rachel, leading to the addition of head cheerleader, and Finn's girlfriend, Quinn (played by Dianna Agron) is just the beginning of the personal and professional challenges that Mr. Schuster and the students will face.
