Fury

Fury (also known as Brave Stallion) is a western TV series that premiered on NBC in 1955 and ran until 1960 following the adventures of an adopted young boy and his horse, named Fury. The boy is Joey Clark (Bobby Diamond), a misunderstood young orphan living in the range country. One day, Broken Wheel ranch owner Jim Newton (Peter Graves) sees Joey being blamed for breaking a window when he is innocent. After clearing his name, he learns that Joey is an orphan and takes Joey to live at the Ranch with him, soon after adopting him as his son. On the ranch, Joey befriends the horse Fury, a horse who normally only lets Joey ride him. Episodes involved a persongetting himself into dangerous situations because of a bad attitude or mischief, and Fury rescuing him in the end. Sometimes Jim Newton would be called in and had to fight someone, who he would beat handily every time. MORE
