He indulges in epicurean delights, engages in absorbing conversations with the locals, takes part in unique local traditions and explores the beautiful nuances of each place he visits. Some of his voyages include the exotic islands of the Caribbean, from the charming Mediterranean towns of Europe to the bustling streets of Asia.

The title of the show, "El Viajero Con Josh Garcia," perfectly encapsulates its essence. Josh’s personal interest in world cultures and history, along with his background studying anthropology at the University of California, lend an authentic and relatable vibe to the show.

His ability to connect with the individuals he comes across during his narrated journey is what sets “El Viajero” apart. By actively participating in the day-to-day activities of the locals and showcasing their daily struggles, achievements, and joys, Josh completely dissolves the barriers between the viewer, himself, and the people and cultures he visits.

The show captures the spontaneous spirit of exploration. Unlike some travel shows, the focus is not on “must-see” tourist spots. Instead, Josh takes viewers off the beaten path, sharing an in-depth and intimate view of each location. For instance, viewers might find themselves learning how to prepare traditional food in a local's kitchen or exploring the ingenuity of craftsmanship displayed in a small village’s workshop.

The series instills a broad spectrum of emotions, from sheer thrill and curiosity to empathy and admiration.

Even though the show is about traveling and experiencing various cultures, it goes beyond that. It encourages the audience to celebrate diversity, pushes them, in a gentle way, to step out of their comfort zones, and inspires them to learn and explore more about the world they live in. “El Viajero” isn’t just about watching; it’s about experiencing a world outside of our own little circles of existence.
