The Last Fall

The Last Fall is a 2012 drama movie that explores the aftermath of a promising football player's decision to leave the game after several unsuccessful attempts to make it into the NFL. The film follows Kyle Bishop (played by Lance Gross), a star college football player who dreams of playing professionally. As Kyle's blog gains popularity, he is approached by an old coach, Rex Broussard (played by Harry Lennix), who offers him a chance to try out for a team in Philadelphia. Despite his reservations, Kyle agrees to give it one more shot and moves to Philly to train with the team.

In Philadelphia, Kyle struggles to fit in with his new teammates, who are all younger and less experienced than him. He butts heads with the head coach, played by Vanessa Bell Calloway, who sees him as an outsider and a distraction. Additionally, Kyle is still dealing with his unresolved feelings for Faith and the guilt he feels over his past mistakes.
