The Ice Pirates

In a distant future, the galaxy is ruled by an evil empire that has monopolized the entire water supply in the universe. Water is a precious commodity, and it is tightly controlled by the empire, leaving the entire population in dire straits.

In this world, we meet the Ice Pirates, a group of space pirates who specialize in stealing ice from deserted planets and selling it in the black market. Led by the dashing Jason (Robert Urich), the Ice Pirates are a rag-tag team of smugglers, comedians, and adventurers always on the lookout for their next heist.

At the start of the movie, Jason and his crew hijack a spaceship belonging to the empire, hoping to find a cache of frozen water on board. Instead, they stumble upon a beautiful princess, Karina (Mary Crosby), who is being held captive by the empire's forces. They decide to rescue her, and in the process, they uncover a deadly conspiracy against the empire.

As they navigate through the universe, the Ice Pirates must battle the empire's army of robot enforcers, vicious space creatures, and ruthless bounty hunters who are all trying to capture them.
