The Crew

The Crew is a comedic crime film released in 2000, starring celebrated actors Richard Dreyfuss, Burt Reynolds, and Dan Hedaya. Their plan, which seen through a lens of skewed morality appears ingeniously creative, marks the starting point of an escalating series of events.

Their deeds, which were born out of desperation and not malice, are remarkably out of place in the life they have chosen post the rigors of mafia jobs. Richard Dreyfuss delivers a great performance, blending the right amounts of exasperation and deadpan wit. Burt Reynolds, as another of the fearsome foursome, is equally adept at leading the audience from laughter into sympathy while Hedaya and Cassel complete this unlikely band of brothers with their idiosyncrasies and tribulations. Jennifer Tilly and Carrie-Anne Moss are enlisted as major players in the series of escalating events as well, each with their personal story linked to the actions of our main characters.
