In 2078, a group of miners on a remote planet called Sirius 6B struggle to survive in a brutal war against their own government forces known as the New Economic Bloc (NEB). The miners have been fighting for years to protect their resources from the NEB who want to take control of the planet and exploit its resources. However, the miners soon face a new and terrifying enemy that threatens their entire existence. The new enemy is a type of self-replicating weapon system called "Screamers" which were initially created by the NEB to help them win the war.
