Que Pena Tu Boda

Que Pena Tu Boda is a 2011 Chilean romantic comedy film directed by Nicolás López. The movie stars Ariel Levy as Javier, a young man who is deeply in love with his girlfriend, Ángela, played by Andrea Velasco. But, things start to go wrong when she dumps him after they have been together for five years. Javier is devastated and tries everything in his power to win Ángel back. Lorenza Izzo plays the role of Andrea, a new girl who Pablo, Javier's friend, introduces him to in a bid to help him get over Ángela.

The film opens with Javier listening to a voicemail from Ángela, in which she breaks up with him. He is then shown crying uncontrollably on his bed. Eventually, his friend Pablo (played by Nicolás Martínez) convinces him to come out of his funk and move on with his life. They both attend a bachelor party where Javier eventually meets Andrea, a beautiful girl who seems to be everything he needs at the moment.

From the beginning, Javier and Andrea hit it off, and they spend most of the party together. Javier tells her everything that happened with Ángela, and how much he loved her, and she listens attentively. They share a passionate kiss, and Javier starts to feel like he can get over Ángela after all.

The next day, Javier decides to take a chance on Andrea and meets up with her for lunch. They bond over their shared love for music and start dating. As the relationship progresses, Javier starts to feel like he is finally getting over Ángela, and that Andrea could be the one for him.

However, things start to get complicated when Ángela comes back into the picture. She announces that she is getting married, and Javier realizes that he still has feelings for her. He makes several attempts to stop the wedding and win her back, but all to no avail.

Amidst all of this drama, Andrea is supportive of Javier, and she tries to help him get over Ángela. However, she starts to feel like he is not truly over her, and that he is just using her as a rebound. This causes a rift between them, and they eventually break up.

As the movie comes to a close, Javier comes to the realization that he has to let go of Ángela and move on with his life. He realizes that he has been chasing after her for too long, and that it is time to let her go. He goes back to Andrea and begs for her forgiveness, and they reunite. The movie ends with them walking arm in arm, happy together.

Overall, Que Pena Tu Boda is a light-hearted romantic comedy that explores the themes of love and heartbreak. The movie is full of laugh-out-loud moments, and the performances by the lead actors are superb. If you are a fan of romantic comedies, then this movie is definitely worth watching.
