Kanto Wanderer

Also known as The Woman Sharper and Kanto Vagabonds, this 1963 gang crime film was directed by Seijun Suzuki and starred, Akira Kobayashi, Chieko Matsubara, Daizaburo Hirata and finally, Hiroko Itō. The plot of the film revolves around three young woman who are obsessed with two local Yakuza gang members. Katsuta of the Izu Clan and Diamond Fuyu of the Yoshida Clan who are the Izu's bitter rivals and engage in a bloody turf war. One of the woman becomes entangled in this seedy underworld when she begins to assist Diamond in various illicit schemes, during which she runs into Katsuta with whom she begins to fall in love.
