As the story unfolds, we get to see the rag-tag group struggle to keep their covers as deaf and dumb people. This leads to many hilarious situations, including a mix-up of Prabhakar's medicines and some confusion over the milk bottle. The narrative takes a turn when Gopal's childhood friend, Laxman's boss, and Prabhakar's estranged son, brings in a lawyer to drive the boys out by proving that they are not deaf and dumb.
