Told in interconnecting stories, Ballroom is a beautifully crafted debut novel about a group of strangers united by a desire to escape their complicated lives, if only for a few hours each week, in a faded New York City dance hall. These complex characters' hearts, their fates weave together both on and off the dance floor in touching and unexpected ways. It's a soulful and poignant exploration of the human spirit wanting to love and be loved.
