True Jackson, VP is a teen sitcom TV series developed by Nickelodeon that follows True Jackson (Keke Palmer), a sixteen-year-old girl who goes from a stylish sandwich seller to the Vice President of youth fashion at MadStyle, a fashion design company. True is kind-hearted but trouble prone, always getting into situations at work that nearly gets her fired, but with the help of her best friends, Lulu (Ashley Argota), her incredibly smart classmate-turned-assistant, and the gullible and clumsy Ryan (Matt Shively) she manages to smooth things out in the end. Her age and talent tend to rub the Vice President of Women’s Fashion, Amanda Cantwell (Danielle Bisutti), who had wanted to turn True’s office into something else, like a gym or a closet. Navigating the business and fashion world at sixteen is a bit tricky, but maybe she’ll catch the eye of her crush, the mail deliverer at MadStyle, Jimmy Madigan (Robbie Amell), who just so happens to be the nephew of her boss, Max (Greg Proops).
