Shake It Up is the Disney Channel comedy series that follows the lives of two background dancers, CeCe Jones (Bella Thorne) and Rocky Blue (Zendaya Coleman). Rocky and CeCe are best friends , who both hope to be professional dancers. With the help of some connections, they land gigs as background dancers on a local TV show, Shake It Up Chicago. We see the girls as they have adventures through daily life, school, and their new job. Things are always going wrong with CeCe's little brother Flynn. The TV show can be chaotic and the girls feel lots of pressure to match the tough competition, including the talented sibling duo Tinka and Gunther. If that isn't enough, the girls also have to struggle with fitting in and gaining social status at their school, which has it's own set of problems.
