Outsourced

Outsourced is a workplace sitcom from NBC that was adapted for television from a feature film of the same name, starring Ben Rappaport, Rizwan Manju, Sacha Dhawan, Rebecca Hazlewood, Parvesh Cheena, Anish Nagarajan, Diedrich Bader, and Jessica Gower. The series revolves around the call center of the company Mid America Novelties, which sells cheap knickknacks such as fake vomit and whoopee cushions. Todd Dempsy (Ben Rappaport) is chosen to run the call center, which is located in India and staffed entirely by Indian employees. The culture clash is just as extreme for Todd as it is for the employees, who have a little trouble dealing with American callers. Todd enlists the help of fellow manager Charlie Davies (Diedrich Bader) to give him some tips on how to bridge the gap between cultures and run a successful branch.
