Lie to Me stars Tim Roth as Dr. Cal Lightman, an expert in the human microexpressions and body language that reveal if a person is lying or telling the truth. Along with his colleague Dr. Gillian Foster (Kelli Williams), Dr. Lightman takes contracts for lie detection through his company, The Lightman Group. Federal and local law enforcement, law firms, corporations and individuals all seek out Lightman's ability to analyze a person's honesty and glean their intentions. Brendan Hines plays Will Loker, Lightman's lead researcher and practicer of "radical honesty." Monica Raymund plays Ria Torres, the newest team member with an innate ability to read people, much different than that of the other book-smart members of the team. Each episode follows the Lightman Group's cases as they use their skills to find the truth.
