I, Predator

I, Predator is an Animal Planet documentary series that gives viewers a glimpse of what it feels like to be one of the natural world's greatest predators, scientifically breaking down the physiological processes that make these natural warriors such perfect hunters. This six-part series combines live footage of real animals hunting in the wild with state-of-the-art animations to show the incredibly complex science behind these deadly creatures. In each installment, real footage of two animals fighting in the wild is presented to show the shocking capabilities of each creature. During the fight, computer graphics and digitally-enhanced diagrams, along with slow motion technology, explain to the viewer what is happening inside the bodies and minds of these animals. In one installment, a killer whale chases a seal nearly a kilometer underwater, her body constantly adjusting to protect her from the massive deep sea pressure. In another episode, two great white sharks face-off for the chance at a tasty meal that may have to last them a month, making for a dangerous meeting between two hungry hunters. MORE
