The Real Housewives of Atlanta is an American reality television series that premiered on the Bravo cable network in the fall of 2008. The Real Housewives of Atlanta garnered greater success than both of its predecessors, The Real Housewives of Orange County and The Real Housewives of New York City, becoming Bravo's highest rated reality series. The hit show revolves around a group of Atlanta women from various walks of life, with various core philosophies. The current stars are fashion designer Shereé Whitfield, author NeNe Leakes, real estate broke and fashion designer Lisa Wu-Hartwell, singer and wig designer Kim Zolciak, and record producer and singer Kandi Burruss.
