Foxy Brown is a 1974 crime thriller about a woman avenging her boyfriend's murder. Foxy Brown (Pam Grier) has been happily dating a government agent, Michael Anderson (Terry Carter). Then her desperate younger brother, Link (Antonio Fargas), sells out Michael's identity to pay off a $20,000 drug debt and save his own skin. Michael gets shot down in the street and Foxy vows revenge and wants to get her brother out of the grip of the drug world. She poses as a prostitute to track down "Miss Katherine" (Kathryn Loder) and Steve Elias (Peter Brown), the leaders of the local gangster ring. She learns the inner workings of their criminal enterprise and then devises a plan to destroy their hold over the ghetto. Working with a local community organization, Foxy takes on the mob with humor and style. Jack Hill directs this classic "blaxploitation" movie, which contains violence and sexual situations best suited to mature audiences.MORE[EDIT]
