The Late Regret

Sonya is getting ready for a date. She is happy. Kostya survived but he is bed-ridden. Mila decides to take care of Kostya. Mila goes home to get her things and live in the hospital. She gets into a car, and the driver has a poisonous lizard on the back seat. Mila persuades the driver to give her the lizard.

Anya tells the love story of Seryozha and Kira. Anya also says that Seryozha met Kira in the train station.

We are back in our times. Kira comes back from prison. She does not have anywhere to go. She has to wait for three days until the nearest train. Vera Petrovna, the station administrator, felt sorry for Kira and offered her to live at her place. It turns out that Vera Petrovna rents out a room in her house. Anya lives in Israel with Yegor. Seryozha has a girlfriend named Nastya.

Mila comes to the police to accuse Kostya of economic crimes. Anya is told about explosions in Haifa due to terrorist acts.

Yegor goes to Israel. Anya was refused a visa, so he leaves alone. Kira's employer leaves for a vacation with her children, and Kira is to maintain the household alone, without any servants, left with the master. She suddenly gets a call from Nikolay Nikolayevich. She promises to come to her this night and asks her to open the window in children's bedroom.

Maxim is visited by Nikolay Nikolayevich. Maxim tells him that Kira left. A quarrel starts between them, and Nikolay Nikolayevich beats Maxim up. Kira is preparing to go to the hospital and asks the eldest daughter of her employers for an advice what to wear. The girl brings her mother's clothes to thank Kira for keeping a secret from her parents.

Olya and Kostya are together again. Olya tells Mila that she and Kostya are now together. Mila is left completely alone. Seryozha comes in an ambulance. They save Gosha together. To justify the call, Kira says that Gosha is her son. Seryozha believes her. Seryozha tells her she saw her at the employment agency but she was with her husband.

Having come back after his shift, Seryozha finds out that Svetlana did not spend the night alone. He understands that the man who stayed at her place is the reason why she still hasn't agreed to his proposal.

Kostya accidentally meets Olya. Olya is still in love with him. Lena persuades Kira to leave her husband and find a job as a nanny or a housekeeper. Kira agrees, and they go to an agency, which helps Kira with work. In the agency Kira bumps into Svetlana who is looking for a nanny. Svetlana offers Kira to work at her place, and Kira promises to think about it.

Nikolay Nikolayevich literally stalks Kira showering her with attention but Kira tries to avoid him. Kira invites Lena for a visit.

"The Sorcerer" (Seryozha) saved little Kira. Svetlana and Kira have become friends with Anya and Seryozha.

2001. Out of a teenager, Kira transformed into a young and beautiful woman. She is married and her new family looks ideal but somehow not real... Her husband Maxim is very pedantic about his surroundings and criticizes his wife for the slightest flop. Kira meets her old friend Lena in a book shop; they have some catching up to do.

Olya still cannot bring herself to tell Kostya the truth, but they plan to live together. Kira meets Lena.

Kira survived. Yegor comes to Anna for a visit. For him, she is now the only person embodying devotion, honesty and kindness. They begin to trust each other. Mila and Kostya come back home where Seryozha is waiting for them. Mila tells him to go away, but Kostya informs him where he can find Kira. Kostya comes to Kira, but she doesn't want to see him.

Anna is taken to the hospital. Tomasz is offered to become a head of the new fund. It can become highly profitable if they find a good economist. Kira is pregnant, and the only person she reaches out to for support is Seryozha. However, Seryozha is in the hospital with his mother and Kira cannot talk to him. Kira tells her friend Lena what happened.

Afghanistan 1989. This is where Sergey, Anna's husband, and Yegor fight. Here the war tests them, and out of strangers they become friends. Alushta, 1989. First tender love is being born between Kira and Seryozha. They are happy and enjoy it. However, their families are so different: Kira's mother, Mila, has an affair with doctor Tomasz and doesn't respect her husband Kostya at all.
