We won't get to equality unless this generation refuses to be fooled into thinking that the women's question is dead, and refuses to allow the pursuit of women's rights to die.

What can justify the treatment of women in the United States and around the world? While we believe in the US that our attitudes are more progressive, women are told here, just as in Third World countries, that if violence happens to them, they either deserved or provoked it.
