However, her life takes an unexpected turn when a tornado whisks her and her dog away to the fantastical realm of Oz.

In Oz, Dorothy's dull black and white existence erupts into glorious Technicolor. She discovers she has inadvertently killed the Wicked Witch of the East, whose ruby slippers she is entrusted with by Glinda, the Good Witch of the North. Thus begins Dorothy's quest to meet the mysterious Wizard of Oz in the Emerald City who, she is told, can help her return home. Along the way, she befriends a Scarecrow in search of a brain, a Tin Man yearning for a heart, and a Cowardly Lion who craves courage. This eccentric group of companions embark on a captivating and perilous journey, fraught with danger, excitement, and heartwarming camaraderie.
